Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) is brutally murdered and there is a long list of suspects. One person who might become a suspect is Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). It is teased that after Abigail’s death, Sarah has a disturbing hallucination. Could this hallucination actually be a memory? If so, will Sarah confess or try to avoid prison?
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Abigail DiMera’s Death
DOOL spoilers reveal that Abigail is found bloody and lifeless on her bed. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is the one that finds his wife’s body, which is transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, Abigail is declared dead in the emergency room.
After Chad weeps over his wife’s lifeless body, an investigation will commence. It will be the police department’s primary focus as Abigail’s murderer is still on the loose. At first, there are three primary suspects: Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart). However, as the case continues, there will be other suspects that emerge.
DOOL Spoilers – Sarah Horton’s Side Effect
In the summer preview of Soap Opera Digest, head writer Ron Carlivati teased Sarah would have an unexpected side effect of being drugged. Based on spoilers for the next two weeks, it’s clear that Sarah begins hallucinating. The scribe teased that the side effect starts off small, but eventually ties in with a bigger story. That bigger story could be Abigail’s murder.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Disturbing Hallucination
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Sarah will have a disturbing hallucination, which happens shortly after Abigail’s death. So, the two could be linked. Of course, Sarah would never kill Abigail if she were in her right mind. After all, the two are family and Abigail is the one who rescued Sarah from Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
DOOL Spoilers – Confusion and Consequences
All those drugs caused Sarah to think she was a small child and even someone else at one point. Eventually, Sarah went into a catatonic state until she received the antidote.
Sarah is now having to relive a lot of trauma, which could have a devastating effect on Sarah’s mind. Plus, just because Sarah received the antidote doesn’t mean she’s back to 100 percent. Sarah’s mind could still be affected in unseen ways.

It’s possible that Sarah might have been sleepwalking or in a temporarily delusional state when she killed Abigail. Of course, it’s also possible that Sarah didn’t commit the crime but was seeing someone else do it.
In all this confusion, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) might think Sarah is guilty. It would be just like Xander to take extreme measures to stop Sarah from going to prison. However, if Sarah witnessed a crime and wasn’t the killer, then Xander’s interference could just make a difficult murder case even harder to solve.
