Y&R spoilers reveal that Imani is determined to get close to Nate. Even though Imani wants to be with Nate romantically, she knows that he won’t just jump into bed with her. So, Imani has to find another way to bond with Nate and convince him that they would make a great team.

Imani finds this opening when Nate hates the approach that Chancellor-Winters is taking at the launch party. Nate agrees that the company won’t give any details on what’s coming. However, he thinks it’s a mistake and wants to take a more aggressive approach, especially since the company has some brutal competition. Imani sides with Nate on this and is the only person who “gets it.”

Y&R Spoilers – Nate Hastings’ Betrayal

At the launch party, Nate has a speech prepared, which doesn’t give out any information about what’s ahead. Nate begins to think about Imani’s suggestion and does a complete 180 right in the middle of the speech. Actor Sean Dominic teased the moment during an interview with Soap Opera Digest.

“Lily [Winters, played by Christel Khalil] and Devon [Hamilton, played by Bryton James] are content just to say, ‘Here are two great names being merged together.’ But Nate wants to take a more aggressive approach. He thinks this is the golden opportunity to declare to the world, ‘We’re combining forces…’”

The actor added that Nate thinks this is the wrong time for the business to rely on family and heritage. Nate realizes that they have some stiff competition, leading him to think that a bolder approach is necessary.

In the middle of Nate’s speech, he does a 180 and announces what they have in store over the next few weeks. Lily and Devon are stunned, feeling completely blindsided and betrayed by Nate.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Nate’s bold move could get him fired. As for Imani, she is a legal partner at Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) law firm. The fact that Imani encouraged Nate to betray Lily, Devon, and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) won’t sit well with her.

Plus, Amanda is already concerned about Imani’s inappropriate behavior around Nate. So, Imani could get fired as well.

Don’t expect Nate and Imani to regret their decision, though. The two just might think they know best and form their own company.
