General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Not Peter’s Mother – Time for Alex Devane To Meet Her Son?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) time away from Port Charles is coming to an end soon. She left town to find her twin sister, Alex Devane (also Finola Hughes) and find out once and for all if her memory of giving birth to Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is actually her’s or her twin’s. Anna and Alex were subjected to the same memory mapping procedure as Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Drew Cain (Billy Miller). Because of this, Anna isn’t sure if any of her memories could actually be her Alex’s.

General Hospital Spoilers – For awhile Anna DeVane thought Robin Scorpio’s birth was the memory

Anna believed for the a time that giving birth to Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) was the implanted memory, but Anna was eventually able to determine Robin is indeed her daughter. That left her with Peter’s birth, which makes much sense. It’s difficult to believe Anna had any type of relationship with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Anna’s never shown any emotion toward Faison, except fear and hate. So the revelation that Peter was Anna’s son with the man never felt right.

GH Spoilers – Alex DeVane makes more sense

Alex Devane is a much more likely candidate to be Peter’s mom, so it’s likely Anna and Alex hashed it out. Alex would eventually relent and acknowledge Peter’s birth. This may very well be why Anna has stayed away as long as she has. Before she left, Anna had spent the better part of a year trying to bond with Peter and now she is probably questioning how she feels. She put a lot of faith in Peter’s story of being nothing more than Faison’s pawn. Perhaps, with clearer vision, Anna has looked into Peter’s crimes.

General Hospital Spoilers – It’s time for Alex DeVane and Peter August to meet

Regardless of Peter’s guilt or innocence, Anna will likely want Alex and Peter to meet. The situation will be confusing at best, but perhaps Peter and Alex have more in common anyway. So hopefully Anna has convinced Alex to reveal the truth!
