Tristan Thompson Is Yet To Pay Child Support To Maralee Nichols For His Son Theo

Tristan do your fatherly duty! Honestly guys, I don’t know what to make of this. Tristan Thompson hasn’t paid a dime in the name of child support for his 7-month-old son which he had with Maralee Nichols yet, he’s expecting another boy with Khloe Kardashian.

Last year, the NBA player cheated on the famous reality star and admitted to fathering a child named Theo with former mistress Maralee, also 31. According to TMZ, their new addition after daughter True, four, is due to be born via a surrogate mother and is expected to arrive “within days” if not “already.”

“We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing,” says a rep for Kardashian “We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”

Maralee has had enough of Tristan’s irresponsibility as a father to his son, she is suing the NBA star for child support and has been for months now. “Maralee told friends that Tristan still isn’t paying child support, and [he] wants to battle this out in court,” they added.

Maralee said that Tristan has never met their infant son amid the snub of payment. Maralee’s representative, Harvey Englander, claimed the boy’s father “has not made any attempt to meet their son nor has he provided any financial assistance.”

She has moved from California to Texas and he slammed her as a “gold digger” amid their nasty custody battle.

In March 2022, she demanded the basketball player pay about “$47K” a month and $1M in legal fees. According to Us Weekly, she claimed that the sports star has an “income of $9.7million alone” from being a pro athlete. Maralee has requested a “guideline monthly child support of $47,424.”

In January, New York marriage lawyer Morghan Leia Richardson told HollywoodLife that Tristan will have to pay up until the newborn turns 18 and his income would be calculated.

“One argument for a larger award would be to ensure that the child has the same or similar lifestyle in both homes.” Amidst this all, a source told US Weekly on July 15th: “She’s truly focused on raising Theo.”

The outlet added she is “navigating motherhood as a single mom” and she’s not “surprised” that he is expanding his brood in general. “During their relationship, he told her he wanted five to six children,” the source wildly claimed.

Tristan Thompson’s Cheating Escapades

Back in 2018, When Khloe was pregnant with their daughter True Thompson, 4, It was rumored that Tristan cheated on Khloe while they were still together and expecting a baby together but, they didn’t split till after True was born.

Their first breakup happened in 2019, it was rumored that a close friend of Khloe’s sister Kylie Jenner, by name Jordyn Woods, was seen with Tristan, Tristan denied the rumors but Jordyn went public in Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Talk Show to say “I’m no home wrecker, I would never try to hurt someone’s home, especially someone that I love. And someone that I’ve seen – has a beautiful daughter. I never was trying to steal someone’s man.” When Smith asked Woods if she slept with Thompson, Woods vehemently denied the accusation. “Never a thought, never a consideration, never happened, never will I,” she said. “And that’s why I’m willing to be put up to the test. Attach me to a lie detector, whatever it is.”

With that, Khloe had her own response to Woods “Why are you lying @jordynwoods ?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!” Kardashian wrote. The reality star quickly followed up with a second tweet, calling out the NBA player for his role in the scandal. “Tristan is equally to blame but Tristan is the father of my child,” she tweeted. “Regardless of what he does to me I won’t do that to my daughter. He has been addressing this situation PRIVATELY. If Tristan were to lie publicly about what conspired, then yes I would address him publicly as well.”

Multiple cheating rumors followed suit They got back together in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic before calling it quits again in June 2021.
