The Bold And The Beautiful: Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood-modifiedThe Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) is overwhelmed by grief in Monaco. She has no idea that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is alive back in Los Angeles and trying desperately to let her know!

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers  – She Cannot Move Forward

Jacqueline Macinnes Wood notes in Soap Opera Digest that Steffy simply cannot move forward past her husband’s tragic “death” at the hands of his birth mother. Steffy met her husband when she was being treated by him for injuries stemming from a motorcycle accident, and he helped her fight her subsequent addiction to opioids. She knew that she needed help and so she checked herself into a mental health resort-type facility in Monaco; but still, she is struggling.

Steffy is in a beautiful setting designed to help those suffering from grief as well as depression, her children are with her, but yet she can’t get past her sadness. She knows she has to be able to function in order to take care of her children but she is totally shattered inside over the loss of Finn.

BOLD Spoilers – So Happy, But Now So Sad

Steffy had never had a love before or a husband like Finn; he didn’t waffle back to old wives and girfriends, and he always put her and the children first. He sacrificed his life to save hers, jumping in front of Sheila’s bullet heading for her. She had finally been able to move past Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) who she had something like that with when she had him, which had never been for very long. Steffy has prided herself on being a strong woman, but now she feels so weak; her grief over Finn is more than she can bear right now. All she thinks about as she looks out across the gorgeous scenery is Finn, and wishing he was there.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Meanwhile, Back In Los Angeles

Meanwhile, back in Los Angeles Finn is struggling to get away from Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and he keeps fighting her to give him a chance to call Steffy.  No one except Sheila and Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes) know that Finn is alive, since Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) signed his death certificate. Li is alive, but barely, having been found by Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) in very bad shape; but she knows she has a son.

Finn is struggling physically and emotionally and trying to escape and get to Steffy as much as she is struggling to get over the grief of his presumed death. He knows he can’t find her if he can’t get away from Sheila, and he’ll do anything to get away from Sheila and back to Steffy and the kids.

BOLD Spoilers – If Only Steffy Forrester Finnegan Knew

If only Steffy knew by some psychic connection that Finn was back in Los Angeles alive and trying to get back to her, it would be a great comfort. However, if she also knew the conditions he was in, her depression would turn to anger and she’d be the one Sheila would be afraid of. Eventually, the two star-crossed soulmates will reunite once Finn makes his break for freedom. Viewers can look for two ecstatic reunions for Finn, one with his wife and one with his mother Li who was also presumed dead.
