General Hospital spoilers indicate that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has had too many ups and downs lately and they aren’t likely to be over. General Hospital writers have hinted for years that Trina’s father is not Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews). Is Trina about to learn that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is her father instead?
General Hospital Spoilers – Portia Robinson’s Huge Secret
General Hospital Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) has been hiding a tremendous secret for years. Some time ago, Portia and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) were trapped in a house filled with gas. Jordan almost died but not before she heard Portia’s confession. However, that seems forgotten now.
Jordan finally remembers and questions Portia. Jordan simply cannot let go of the idea that Curtis and not Taggert is Trina’s father. Jordan will keep pushing Portia to come clean amid all of Trina’s current issues. Can Trina stand any more drama in her life right now? Does Trina need to know the truth about her father?
GH Spoilers – Trina Robinson’s Nightmare
General Hospital spoilers indicate that Trina’s nightmare still is not over. After all, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) has instructed Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) not to take Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) deal. Trina’s name may not be cleared at all. Can Trina handle any more on her plate right now?
Portia may get unexpected results when the truth comes out. Trina is close to her mother but this will shake their foundation. Marcus is not likely to be devastated but disappointed as well. Curtis is highly likely to be furious that even after he asked Portia for the truth, she continued to lie to him. Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) may be the only one left in Portia’s corn at this point. Curtis may even abandon Portia after this reveal.
General Hospital Spoilers – Some Fans Are Furious
GH spoilers reveal that some fans are not happy with this decision at all. Taggert has been on this show for years. Taggert is a long-term character who is about to lose his only child. Fans have loved the relationship between Taggert and Trina and don’t want to see that change.

Would hate to see Trina’s life blown apart yet again. But blowing apart lives is what writers seem to like best. This is a very touchy subject, as if Curtis is her bio father he should be told he has a child but what is the best way to go. This situation mirrors the Willow/Nina story line of what is right versus what is the best for all concerned. If Willow can be thrown under the bus with news that Nina is her bio mother, I guess Trina could be in line for the same type reveal even though Curtis would be a better reveal than Nina in my opinion. Don’t see difference for either situation. To tell or not to tell is the question? Will Trina like Willow be put in a position whereby she medically needs her birth father?
Yes Trina’s paternity should remain the same taggert should remain her father the two have a loving father and daughter relationship. And he’s on the show long enough to be happy:
Hopefully after all the unnecessary drama it will turn out that Taggert is her bio-dad.
It’s disappointing that these writers seem determined to blow up everybody’s life. They’ve blown up on of the most stable relationships when they decided to destroy Carly’s and Sonny’s marriage. They’d split up but would always come back together and remarry…..5 times. And that was one couple that didn’t have cheating to blame it,on.
Would hate to see Trina’s life blown up again, but would also hate to see Taggert be deeply hurt, which is exactly what will happen.
Portia has constantly lied that Marcus is Trina’s father, not Curtis.
Personally, I think this “he’s not ______________’s father” is a plot point that’s done way too much in soaps.
Taggert loves Trina so much. I love every time he says “Baby Girl”. I don’t want he and Trina to go through that pain. Let him keep his Baby Girl.
And all concerned will be plenty POed at Portia.
Can you imagine Curtis’s Aunt Stella coming down on her?!
I grind my teeth every time I hear the phrase “Baby Girl. Trina is a grown woman and should be treated as such. I get that they’re trying to demonstrate family love and devotion, but I wish they would use language that is more respectful of this young lady who sometimes acts with more maturity and sense than the parents
