From An Intimate June 9 Wedding to A Fairytale: Britney Spears Opens Up About Marriage to Sam Asghari

On June 9, Britney Spears said “I do” to Sam Asghari in the presence of her A-list friends, Selena Gomez, Madonna, Paris Hilton and more. While the wedding was intimate, members of Britney’s family, including her father, mother, brother, sister, ex-husband and two sons were notably absent from the happy affair. However, Britney’s two teenage sons wished her a happy day. Indeed it was. It was the beginning of many happy days to come.

This Sunday, Britney Spears shared with fans that she is still pretty much enjoying her wedding bliss.

“Guys just two months ago I got married 🎉🎉🎉 !!! Can you believe it 🙈🙈🙈 ???” Britney, 40, wrote in her caption on Instagram.

“… This is the dance floor at my fairytale wedding before we danced … this is our special car,” she added of the two out of three pictures she shared on her timeline.

The “Circus” singer then thanked her friends Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Selena Gomez, and Paris Hilton “for surprising me” and attending the wedding.

She also gave a special shout-out to Selena Gomez for her very warm wishes during the big day. “Thank you to Selena for telling me all she wants is for me to be happy 3 times !!!”

“It was a very, very, very special wedding !!!”

Shortly after the wedding, an insider shared that the two are truly enjoying “being newlyweds”, adding “They are both very happy.”

“The wedding was everything Britney could have wished for and more,” continued the insider. “She loved it all.”

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have been in a relationship for six years prior to getting married. How time flies right?
