Kate Middleton continues to amaze royal family fans. Step aside so-called young, sporty, and single ladies, the Duchess of Cambridge is showing us how it’s done. She really did look the part of a water racer in the official team Great Britain wetsuit.
One thing’s for sure, she does not get picked last in sports.
The Duchess Of Cambridge Competes Against New Zealand In A Friendly Race
When it comes to sports, Duchess Kate is one of the last people that will run from it. I mean, the mom of three actually played against tennis champion Emma Raducanu and kept up!
Earlier this year, she tried her hand with rugby when she became the patron of the RFU and England Rugby Football League. Since she joined the Royal Family, she’s been known to promote the importance of sporting activities for everyone. And one more thing, she’s super competitive, as William no doubt knows firsthand.
This Sunday, the Duchess took to the seas by heading to the historic naval town of Plymouth in Devon to take part in the Great Britain Sail Grand Prix. On her way to the sporting event, she rocked a smart navy blue sweater with white nautical stripes and white linen shorts.

The race was a “Commonwealth Race” friendly against New Zealand around the south coast of England.
Leading up to the race, Kate changed into her Team GB outfit, which included a black wetsuit emblazoned with a GB flag on the chest, a gray team cap and Adidas Pureboost trainers with turquoise laces. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail to keep it away from her face as they sailed through the waters.

She then joined Sir Ben Ainslie, the most successful sailor in Olympic history, and the rest of the Great Britain crew on the F50 foiling catamaran.
With her help, her team was able to secure a win over the New Zealand team in the race. This, however, isn’t he first time that the royal mom of three has been pictured racing over the years, but let’s just say she keeps getting better and better.
