Kylie Jenner Responds To Claims Of Not Observing Sanitary Protocols At Kylie Cosmetics

Kylie Jenner is not letting anyone bully her for doing what she thinks is best for her cosmetic brand. This whole talk about not observing factory sanitary protocols began on Thursday, August 4.

Kylie was so excited to be going to her factory in Milan where her makeup products for her cosmetic brand “Kylie’s Cosmetics” is being produced. In a video, while taking the fans along, Kylie was filmed where she was inside the factory wearing nothing but a lab coat and mixing substances that looked like foundation, brown power, and concealer together, at a point, she scooped the mixture and applied it to the back of her hand to test her work.

When she posted the video on her Instagram, her fans came at her for wearing only a lab coat to the factory.

I bet Kylie posted that video hoping to gain admiration from her fans, instead she was severely criticized over her appearance in the lab. In every circumstance, no one is allowed inside any kind of lab where products are being formulated without the person wearing complete lab ensembles. Lab coat, hair net (whether you have low cut or long hair), hand gloves, and nose mask. In the video, all Kylie was seen putting on was a lab coat.

Kylie left her long hair running wild and untamed, she didn’t even pack it up in a bun or ponytail, her long nails were pointing out with jewelries on two of her fingers, she had no hair net on, no hand gloves on either. Fans accused her of unsanitary protocols and didn’t mince words when asking if they were to expect bits of hair in the products since she didn’t cover her hair.

Some went as far as citing other celebrities that have been visiting their cosmetics factories for the same reason Kylie visited hers which is to make new products for their brands, they noted that all the other celebrities e.g Jeffree Star always observe factory sanitary protocols, no matter who they were. They questioned the kind of factory that would permit her to come in with her hair like that.

Some even decided that the video was fake that Kylie was chasing clout with the video, that if she wanted it to look real and have them convinced, she would have at least tied her hair.

Out of everyone that commented their disapproval of Kylie’s apparel in the factory lab, a comment stood out and that comment steered Kylie to respond to the backlash from fans.

The comment was dropped by Emmy-Award Makeup Artist winner Kevin James Bennett, he said, “Working with cosmetic manufacturers (and their labs) is part of my job. I have very short hair, and I’ve NEVER been allowed into the lab without a hair net…AND GLOVES. Why are you gaslighting your followers?” he asked. “And what ignorant lab let you touch things without following proper sanitation protocols?”

I think the comment struck a nerve because Kylie replied Kevin with an explanation saying that she wasn’t exactly inside the lab, that she was given a private corner where she played with substances. She went on to explain that the pictures and video weren’t taken near the manufacturing facilities. “I would never bypass sanitary protocols and neither would any other celeb or beauty brand owner. that’s completely unacceptable I agree.”

Kylie then blasted Kevin for spreading information that was untrue to her fans. Anyways, Kevin had a comeback of his own because he replied Kylie with “shame on me? NO, shame on you. Just take responsibility for your mistake and move on.”
