The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Nate Hasting’s (Sean Dominic) behavior may have finally gone to far and he is getting a wake up call from everyone he knows, including his cousin Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and now Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).

While the interaction between him and his cousin has been more explosive and on the verge of a fight fight breaking out, Elena spelled it out perfectly for him and he may have finally realized what is going on… we hope.

While Nate has been living it up and soaking up all the attention from Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose), he seems to have forgotten about his own girlfriend, and hearing what she has to tell him.

Imani has been stroking Nate’s ego, reinforcing him constantly and agreeing that he is the one that is misunderstood and undervalued. All of this builds up in Nate’s head and has him thinking about it completely wrong. However, now, Elena may have finally cracked the code by throwing it in his face and telling him that she respects him enough to tell him.

Nate didn’t seem hurt by Elena’s words, but more so surprised and feeling like he had been duped, which he has. Imani knows better but continues to put the pressure on him.

Meanwhile, Imani knows full well what she is doing and that she’s flirting with a man in a committed relationship. It hasn’t seem to bother her in the slightest, and in fact, she’s even been told numerous times to back off of Nate by her sister, Amanda Sinclar (Mishael Morgan). The words haven’t seem to sunk in though.

Nate is a smart guy and it is easy to point fingers and say that he should know what Imani is doing, but he has been trying to play it off as if it is no big deal. To him, it’s not, he knows where his heart lies, but to everyone else around him, it’s not so obvious, including Elena.

I’m honestly surprised it has taken Elena this long to tell him what is going on and what he should do about it. Hopefully Nate will listen and pull his head out of his butt before he loses Elena.
