Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday November 1: Chelsea’s Plan Goes Awry, Victor Starts an Investigation, and Nick’s Big Announcement

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday November 1st indicate that Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) money laundering scheme goes awry, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) starts an investigation, and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) holds a press conference announcing his political future.

At the ranch, Victor is eating candy and watching a game show. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) chats with her husband and says soon things are going to be busy for their family. She then leaves to go attend to some business.

Nick is at his house with Chelsea talking about the big day. Nick is dressed in a suit, and Chelsea compliments him on how good he looks before undressing him. Nick says he’ll have to take a rain check because he can’t be late for the press conference. Chelsea advises Nick to ditch the suit and wear something casual to show that he’s down to earth. As he’s getting ready, Chelsea worries that the press will dig into their pasts.

Nick promise everything will be fine, then makes plans to meet her later. Chelsea leaves just as Nikki arrives. Nikki tells Nick she’s glad he changed his mind about running for political office. Nick says he’s going to need a lot of help and asks if Nikki will help with his campaign, but she refuses. Nikki feels that with her past and connection to Newman Enterprises, she’d be a liability. Nick brings up Nikki’s past political aspirations and says that would be beneficial for him. Nikki agrees to help, then she and Nick leave for the press conference.

At Crimson Lights, a nervous Nick prepares for the press conference. He tells Nikki he’s always set out on a different path than what was expected of him. As they get ready, Nick wonders why Chelsea hasn’t arrived yet. Nikki makes a comment that maybe Chelsea isn’t happy with Nick’s political future, then she says they can’t wait for Chelsea they need to start the conference. Nikki looks on proudly as Nick starts the press conference announcing he’s running for councilman. After the press conference is over, Nikki talks about it being a success, but Nick is worried something is wrong with Chelsea.

Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan) is at the Grand Phoenix on the phone with a mystery caller, who says he’s still in the same location. After she hangs up, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) arrives to discuss his case. He reads a letter he received from the medical board. Amanda has Nate go over his story one more time, then warns she’s the only person who needs to hear this story, no one else. She inquires about his relationship with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and if that played a part in his decision to go along with Victor’s plan.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nate Hastings Irritated With Amanda Sinclair

Nate becomes irritated with Amanda’s comment, and she says she glad to see he defended himself when provoked. Nate tells her he was reluctant at first, but eventually decided to go along with the plan. He says his relationship with Abby didn’t play a part in it, he thought he was doing the right thing by protecting a patient. Amanda decides the focus of Nate’s case will be he put his career on the line for a person’s life. The topic veers off course when Nate brings up Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), but Amanda wants to concentrate on Victor. She says Victor’s his best chance at winning the case and she’ll handle Mr. Newman.

At the Grand Phoenix, a man names Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) arrives to chat with Chelsea. He says that he knew her husband Calvin Boudreaux (John Burke). Chelsea can’t recall meeting him or Calvin mentioning him. Simon says that Chelsea has something of his and he’s come to take it back. Simon explains that he and Calvin were business associates, and when it came time to pay up, Calvin screwed Simon out of his money.

Chelsea claims she doesn’t know anything about the money, but secretly worries. Simon talks about Calvin’s death and how Chelsea is now well off, he then comments that life is short. Simon says he knows Chelsea has the money and he’ll be in contact with her. When Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) arrives, Chelsea tells him that she needs all the money back, but Kevin says there’s a problem, the money is gone. Chelsea panics, then asks Kevin what happened to the money. He says the FBI seized the accounts when they were investigating the bank. Chelsea’s panic grows when she realizes the government took all her money.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Argument Ensues About Adam Newman

Victor is at Society when Kevin arrives and offers congratulations on faking his death. The two have an argument about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Kevin promises that neither he nor Chloe will go after Adam. Kevin leaves when he receives an urgent phone call. Amanda and Nate arrives, and Victor is stunned by Amanda’s resemblance to Hilary. Amanda makes a comment about how everyone except Hilary can come back from the dead.

Victor tells Nate he heard about the medical board trying to take his license, and Victor says he’ll do whatever it takes to help him. Amanda asks Victor if he could give a statement, then Nate says he should never have gotten involved in Victor’s scheme. Nate talks about Victor messing with people’s lives like it’s a game, then says in the end he let Adam go.

Nate comments that Victor gets to go on like nothing happened, but he’s the one who is going to lose everything. Amanda tries to calm Nate, while Victor says he’ll take the blame for everything. Victor then leaves, and Amanda admonishes Nate on his behavior saying he almost ruined everything. When Victor goes outside, he makes a call to an investigator asking what he can find on Amanda Sinclair.
