Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) might be the newest resident of Hope Valley, but the dark-haired businessman might have the money, and charm, to run a successful campaign for mayor. ‘When Calls the Heart’ spoilers revealed that Lucas put together a highly successful Christmas celebration, drawing visitors all the way from Union City and Cape Fullerton. When it comes to Henry, Hearties wonder when he will finally have a romantic interest. We thought it might be Abigail, who always forgave Henry, giving him chance after chance whenever he schemed and double-crossed her or other townspeople. Unless the showrunners recast the role of Abigail, that romantic prospect isn’t an option.

Dottie Ramsey (Erica Carroll) has been the wife of a mayor before, has become a successful dressmaker, a very enterprising woman, much like Henry, is an enterprising man.
