Season 6 of Chesapeake Shores coming to Hallmark

Fans have been waiting impatiently for season 6 of the popular family drama Chesapeake Shores to return. Finally, we are almost there, as the first episode is set to air on Sunday, August 21, at 8 pm ET/PT.

According to Hallmark, episode 1, titled “Memories Are Made of This,” of season 6 sees Connor (Andrew Francis) slowly recovering at home. Fans will recall his near heart attack in season 5 and it sounds like he is taking Bree’s advice to take things easy.

Meanwhile, Robert Buckley (iZombie), Meghan Ory (Once Upon a Time), and Treat Williams (Blue Bloods, Hair) also star. Moreover, Barbara Niven (The Crossword Mysteries), Laci J. Mailey (Falling Skies), Emilie Ullerup (Sanctuary), Brendan Penny (BH90210) and Francis star.

In episode one, Abby (Ory) is going all out to plan the all-important second date with Evan (Buckley). However, she is struggling to work through her lack of inspiration first. Meanwhile, David’s (Carlo Marks, Love in Store) family makes a surprise visit to the bed and breakfast to avoid negative media attention.

As for Megan (Niven), she must decide whether to take the job offer at the Getty. Alternatively, should she stay in Chesapeake Shores to help Conner recover?
