And depending on which side you take, the Duchess of Sussex either demands undeserved constant attention or appears pitifully misunderstood. But Meghan hopes her new podcast can help the world understand her authentic self.

Duchess Of Sussex Wants To Be Known As Just Meghan

Would the real Meghan Markle please stand up? For years, Markle proudly viewed herself as a successful actress in the competitive world of Hollywood. But then Meghan met Prince Harry. And like a fairy tale come true, she became the Duchess of Sussex. However, rather than blossoming amid the royal family, Markle felt forced to pretend to be someone else. 

And all that the now-mom of two wanted seemed so simple: To feel understand. But she quickly realized that life within the real family meant playing a role. And in contrast to Hollywood, royalty expected Meghan to portray that fake persona 24/7. As a result, Markle once confessed that she couldn’t seem to find a way to get accepted as herself.

“It’s just, I’m Meghan and I’ve married this incredible man,” said the Duchess of Sussex about Prince Harry via People. “And this to me is just part of our love story.” However, to the royal family, officials, and observers, marrying Harry meant tying the knot with fulfilling the royal expectations. And when Meghan and Harry exited their royal family duties, that knot got frayed.

Meghan Markle Challenges Palace Through Archetypes Podcast

Stepping back from the royal family in that infamous move known as Megxit and moving to California. An interview with Oprah Winfrey dropping multiple bombshells. The Duchess of Sussex has repeatedly tried to find ways to re-introduce her true authentic self to the world. And now Meghan hopes that her new podcast, Archetypes, will succeed.

But Meghan’s podcast reportedly sparked a frenzy amid royal officials. And they fear that Markle could reveal information intended to shame the royal family, noted MSN. However, by using a podcast as her communications platform, the Duchess of Sussex has effectively cut off immediate responses. And Buckingham Palace aides reportedly feel annoyed that they cannot respond. 

For instance, officials in the Palace allegedly got so peeved that they tried to figure out how to discredit her. And one claimed that Meghan didn’t even correctly recall what happened prior to Megxit. However, the Duchess of Sussex has made her intentions clear about her podcast. And Meghan intends to use her new platform to speak for herself.

      I feel as though trying to fill someone’s shoes that don’t fit is crazy. All Meagan wanted was a husband that would love and protect her like any woman would expect. But the royal engagement meant entirely too many things at one time. It was an offset of life.
      I don’t care how many poperazzi came after when she was an actress it is a different atmosphere in the royal palace.
      The maids and other personally made it almost impossible to breathe.
      None were her friends and they all called and treated her as an OUTSIDER and always scrutinizing about her racial background despite there was already a lady of royal blood in the family of color.
      That didn’t matter they made her uncomfortable enough she could not breathe.
      So to finalize my statement SHE DID NOT HAVE A GOAT’S CHANCE ON A SHEEP RANCH TO FIND SOLICE IN THIS MANAGERIE CALLED A PALACE FIT FOR A QUEEN!
      ALSO WILLIAM AND KATE ARE MAKING IT CERTAIN TO HAVE AS MANY CHILDREN SO HARRY’S KIDS WOULD NEVER REACH THE THRONE!
