The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is teased to reject Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) job offer. Doing so means that Adam does not want his father to know he is coming for him.

As viewers have seen, Adam secured Kevin Fisher’s (Greg Rikaart) laptop. He did so in attempt to gain access to information about the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) investigation.

The goal seems to be justice, Adam style. He remains infuriated that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) suffered no consequences for destabilizing Newman Enterprises, and their father has again skirted legal consequences.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kevin Fisher Is Interrogated

Kevin chose not to walk away from Adam. In effect, he allowed himself to be baited by his long-time nemesis.

Hardcore viewers know that Kevin’s greatest grudge against Adam is based on what happened to his wife’s daughter. Adam is believed to have accidentally killed Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) years ago in what remains one of Y&R’s most infamous, controversial, and unresolved storylines.

So, with the above in mind, Kevin should not have allowed Adam to gain any information. While Kevin divulged nothing sensitive, his answers and non-answers confirmed Adam’s suspicion that Rikaart’s character had useful digital information.

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Offers Opportunity And Renewed Mentorship

Jack has a legitimate hole at Jabot. Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) shift to heading Marchetti means that the co-Chief Executive Officer’s spot is open.

Adam was mentored by Jack for many daytime years. Sometimes that relationship was beneficial, and other times it was not. In either instance, their connection was based on mutual feelings about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

So, Adam’s unwillingness to take Jack’s offer ends the opportunity for short-term drama that would have erupted after Victor learned about Jabot’s new hire.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Has Open Door

Jack’s tell to Adam, about the door to Jabot remaining open, felt ominous. It could mean that Grossman’s character will take the job after his efforts to expose Victor’s cover-up advance.

But Adam’s approach is telling. He is operating independently, not wanting anyone to be part of his scheme in its early stages of development.

Alternatively, if the Moustache proves elusive, as he often has, Adam might be exposed or brashly tell his father about said plans. In either instance, Adam would be shunned by Victor and seek Jack as a fighting partner on Y&R.
