General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Cassadine Is Back But Darker Than Before

General Hospital spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) may be a darker, more evil Nikolas than what GH fans think of as the “Old Nikolas” as having been!

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Has Been Alive For Over Three Years

Nikolas has been alive for over three years, and has not contacted his mother or his son and has let them think he died for that whole time! He is also still married to Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) and has not divorced her, and helped Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) escape WSB custody in Canada about a year and a half ago! He also approached Ava Jerome (Maura West) in her art gallery like he was going to kiss her, kissed her on the forehead when she fainted in his arms and said he thought she’d be glad to see him, but then told Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) that he hates Ava because she recanted her testimony that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) had murdered him!

Apparently he has been lurking around and hiding in plain sight in many places and at many times for him to know that! Nikolas, General Hospital fans think your Cassadine is showing! This doesn’t sound like the “old Nik” at all; he seems to be rivaling Valentin, who he wants “neutralized” at sneakiness! He also seems to be rather two-faced!

GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Doesn’t Know About The Codicil

Valentin had no idea about Mikkos Cassadine’s codicil, which Nikolas says disinherits him. As far as Valentin murdering Nikolas, obviously those charges won’t stick. As far as Valentin knows he is the true heir, and apparently has the original copy of Mikkos’ will. Then there is the fact that at the time when Nikolas was allegedly killed by Valentin, which now General Hospital fans know didn’t succeed, Nikolas had already been trying to fake his own death; that is how Ava and he met. She happened to get the seat next to him when he was beating it out of Port Charles under the name “Niles Carradine” and recognized him.

The two seemed to become close and bond on that trip, as Ava hoped that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was Nikolas who she had found and reached out to as Patient Six in the Boronsky Clinic in Russia! She obviously still feels a bond with him!

It is understandable that Nikolas wants his rightful inheritance but GH fans sure would like to know what that conversation between Nikolas and Valentin in Greek was shortly before Valentin shot him on Cassadine Island and he fell out the window! GH fans also wonder just who it was who rescued him; perhaps Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was involved in that rescue also? After all, it seems where Valentin is, Heinrik Faison follows! Who helped Nikolas all this time before he contacted Jax? Enquiring minds want to know! Will General Hospital writers make sure they do?

      Who helped Nikolas? Could be interesting if it were Peter but I doubt it. He is more on Valentin’s side.
      A more likely alternative would be if Stefan or Helena had people in place monitoring Valentin in case he attacked Nik. Since he has Stefan’s ring I would like it to be him. I liked it when they made Stefan and Nik father and son. It did not last but they had that type of relationship.
      After all Cassadine’s have the ability to carry out plans from beyond.
