General Hospital Spoilers: Trina Believes In Spencer, Ruins Friendship With Ava

General Hospital spoilers tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) may soon find himself the prime suspect in the vicious attack on Ava Jerome (Maura West). As viewers know, an unknown assailant used a very large fishing hook and stabbed Ava near the Quartermaine boathouse. Ava survived the initial attack and is now recovering at General Hospital. But it remains unclear exactly who committed the crime. Spencer was drunk at the time and couldn’t be sure what he did or didn’t do. But one person who will likely believe in Spencer’s innocence is Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

General Hospital Spoilers – Whodunit?

There are several suspects in the attack on Ava. Most notably, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) seem like they could be guilty. But thanks to Nikolas, they both seem to have an alibi for the time of the attack. This will lead the authorities to hone in on Spencer. But no matter how much evidence there is, Trina will stand by Spencer. But what does Ava remember from the attack?

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome will soon wake up!

Ava will make a full recovery according to the doctors. But will she be able to help authorities identify her attacker? She was attacked from behind so she may not have seen the person. But given the animosity between both Spencer and Ava over the past few years, she will also likely believe that Spencer is the guilty party, even though he likely is not. This could cause issues between Ava and Trina as Ava recovers. Ava and Trina are very close, with Trina looking at Ava as almost a second mother.

General Hospital Spoilers – Trina Robinson knows what it is like to be falsely accused!

Trina has spent the last several months defending herself in the revenge porn scandal. She was accused of recording and uploading a video of Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) having sex. She was eventually exonerated of all charges but she knows exactly how Spencer once he is accused of the attack on Ava. So even if it causes issues between her and Ava, look for Trina to back Spencer up. This could finally lead to romance between the two of them.
