Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) needed time on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. His father, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) wronged him in an unimaginable way in the recent past.

Time has served to heal and Liam, being forgiving, is restoring his relationship with the father he didn’t come to know until he was an adult. That’s why Bill’s offer for Liam to return to Spencer Publications represents good timing.

Reclaiming the fullness of this father-son relationship also plays into what Liam will soon face, as Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is voluntarily entering another dangerous struggle with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Lope Restored But Unstable

Hope feels that she can’t tell Liam the truth. Thomas continues to act in ways that demonstrate his mental instability, which is why Hope is driven to seek the first stage of her hoped-for full custody pursuit of his son.

Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) exhibited tremendous, sustained bravery in defying his father’s wishes earlier this year. The result was that Phoebe Forrester (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) was revealed as actually being Beth Spencer.

The above is why Hope is willing to risk herself and the trust she has with Liam. Noelle’s character is desperate to get Douglas away from Thomas as soon as possible.

B&B Spoilers – Liam Spencer And Ridge Forrester’s Perspectives Limited

Liam told Bill that part of the reason he doesn’t want to adopt Douglas has to do with the girls. Beth and Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington and Allison Marcia Sweeney) are his children, which he takes full responsibility for.

In a backstory nod, Liam also said that he knew Bill wasn’t ready to be a parent when he was a boy. Clifton’s character linked that point to Thomas’ inability to evidence proper parenting skills, but added that Thomas deserved another chance to prove himself.

Like Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Liam doesn’t know what Hope’s experienced over time with Thomas. His most recent proposed deal to her on Halloween night reinforced that he’s not stable. B&B fans must think that Liam and Ridge will see the fullness of who Thomas is (or has remained) in the near future.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Spencer’s And Forrester’s Prep For Battle

Bill and Ridge’s many battles, a number of which involved Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), enable fans to see Liam’s dislike of Thomas through that prism. The projection of soapy rays in the near future will surely allow Bill to aid Liam will full Spencer force, while Ridge initially counters.

Kaye’s character continues to convince himself that Thomas is fine and simply needs Forrester family support to improve his life. However, Thomas’ belief that Hope wants a relationship with him and her desire to take Douglas away appears to be leading to a major clash between these families.
