British royal family news teases that Meghan Markle has been slammed for taking the podium on Monday night and referencing herself 57 times in seven minutes. The whole point of the trite lecture was to inspire young leaders and Meghan did that by holding herself up as “the girl from Suits.” No word on how many asked for refunds.

Hours later MM’s third self-centered podcast dropped and it was all about –you guessed it—her. The Office actress Mindy Kaling was the guest in the latest episode of the Archetypes podcast and somehow we know more about Megs than Mindy when it’s over. Fancy that.

Meghan seized the mic to reveal that she, “considered herself an ugly duckling during her childhood, telling that she struggled with the way she looked as a youngster.”

According to the Daily Mail, “The Duchess of Sussex, 41, made the comments in the third podcast released on Spotify, telling Kaling that she was ‘not the pretty one’ when growing up and would often join clubs so she would have meetings at lunch and wouldn’t have to sit alone.”

The 50-minute podcast dropped as Meghan and her husband Prince Harry traveled to Germany for an Invictus Games event.

The women also bemoaned their privileged status noting that they, “were funnier than their female counterparts, and the stigma of being a single woman,” still weighs on their minds.

Kaling tried to outdo Meghan’s sad story declaring, “I grew up always feeling ugly, overweight, ‘othered’, and so, with my daughter, I’m always telling her that she’s beautiful to the point where my friend BJ is like “You can tell her other compliments!”

Both women exclaimed that they were called “smart” however. The pity party bonding was in high gear from then on out.

A gobsmacked Kaling asks her host, “Were you not the pretty one growing up?” To which Me-Again replied, “No, oh God, no! Ugly duckling.” But her ego won out in the end, admitting that ,“ her looks might have been considered unconventionally beautiful, saying she had ‘massive frizzy, curly hair and a huge gap in my teeth. I was the smart, one forever and ever and ever and ever – and then I sort of grew up.” Did you Meghan, did you really? Tell the truth.
