Days of Our Lives Comings And Goings: Sydney Brower Joins DOOL As Arianna Horton

Sydney Brower is reportedly taking over the role of Arianna Horton on “Days of Our Lives,” as per the social media post of Jason47. The character will be SORASed for the soap’s daring time jump. The 10-year old Sydney is very talented. Not only is she a great young actress, she’s also a surfer, pianist, and martial artist. Some of her roles include “Ready Player One,” “Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television,” and “American Housewife.”

“Days of Our Lives” is doing something that no other daytime soap has ever done before. The soap has gone into the future just in time for its 54th anniversary. Viewers are excited and intrigued to know what happens next!

DOOL Spoilers – Why The Time Jump?

In an interview with TV Insider, head writer, Ron Carlivati was asked why the show opted for a time jump. He said it was something he’s always wanted to do. He pitched the concept during his stint at “One Life to Live,” and at “General Hospital” but it never happened. Meanwhile, on “Days of Our Lives,” they’ve wanted to do the time jump a year ago but didn’t do so because it wasn’t the right time.

One of the reasons for the time jump is to have the opportunity to reset stories. “It allows you to jettison some stuff, start new stuff,” he said.

“Just having to look at the whole canvas and think, ‘OK, if a year went by, what could have changed? What’s changed since Salem? Who’s together? Who’s apart, who’s alive, who’s dead?” he continued.

“A lot can happen in a year, especially on a soap opera. So we thought, ‘Wow, wouldn’t it be fun that all of that stuff has happened and the audience is thrown in at once, and then we slowly peel back and reveal what happened,” he added.

Teasers hint that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) are “separated in a way.” There are characters who will look different and someone dies, too. If someone is leaving, there are others who are returning to Salem. Plus, Christmas in Salem will be different. They will be “doing something big and fun at midnight” on New Year’s Eve.

Arianne Zucker, who takes on the role of Nicole Walker, described the time jump as an “incredible feat.” Eric Martsolf (Brady Black) hinted that emotional stuff is coming and warned viewers never to miss a day. Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Johnson) asked the fans to “ride the waves” as the watch what happens next.
