The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have to make a painful decision. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has been pushing for Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to know they’re brothers, so with that comes admitting Billy’s affair with Chelsea.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Unable To Care For The Child

When Johnny was conceived as a result of Billy and Chelsea’s short affair, Chelsea was unable to care for the baby. Victoria and Billy reconciled and when Johnny was born, Victoria agreed to adopt him and raise him with Billy. He was raised as a sibling of Victoria and Billy’s daughter Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) and is her half-brother but has known Connor as a cousin.

Johnny has been told that Victoria is not his birth mother but hasn’t up to this time been told that Chelsea is. Connor doesn’t know either, so the truth may be a jolt to him as well, but it’s Billy and Victoria who have to make a painful decision.

The question arises since Johnny and Katie were raised as brother and sister, and through Billy they are, will Katie have to know Chelsea is Johnny’s mother too? One can see where it would be embarrassing and painful to tell their children that their father cheated on their mother and that’s how their sibling came about. Johnny is at an age where he will understand it but Katie, maybe not so much; but Johnny might tell Katie anyway so that’s a double decision for Billy and Victoria. It will be painful to talk about that time and that affair, but Billy and Victoria realize that Johnny, and perhaps Katie as well, will have to know because they’ll ask.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Truth Revealed

Billy and Victoria prepare Johnny and Katie for the truth to be revealed as best they can, understanding that both may be angry at Billy for his past failings. But even in the past few years they have seen their parents separate and divorce, their father become involved with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and their mother remarry. They barely knew Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) since they went to boarding school but that’s probably a blessing.

Billy and Victoria aren’t sure how Johnny and Katie will take it but they may as well not delay the inevitable any longer. They certainly don’t want them to find out and it not be from them as that would make things even worse.
