Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) will be at the center of a new storyline next week as she faces suspicion for causing Jenny Connor’s (Sally Ann Matthews) injury. Did she intend to get Jenny injured so she could host the pub quiz?
Glenda is a new face on the cobbles. George Shuttleworth’s (Tony Maudsley) sister landed a job in the pub after getting hired by Jenny and Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan). But will Jenny come to regret her decision after the recent turn of events?
Spoilers hint that Glenda will prepare for her hosting gig for the pub quiz. She’ll be all dressed up only to find that Daisy wants Jenny to do it because the latter’s better. Glenda mops the floor while feeling furious over the recent news. While she’s working, Jenny slips and twists her ankle.
Daisy immediately rushes her to get medical help while Glenda is left to host the pub quiz. Later on, while Jenny rests, she finds out that the locals had a blast at the pub as Glenda leads the event.
Jenny confides to Daisy that she believes Glenda intended to cause the accident. Is this true? How will her accusations affect her working relationship with Glenda? Is Glenda the new villain in town?
