General Hospital Spoilers – Victor Cassadine Is A Master At Holding Hostages

It wasn’t too long ago that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) were found, having been held hostage by Victor. Of course, the Cassadine royal didn’t pay for his crime — once again. Cozying up to Valentin, whom he’d just revealed himself to as his father, Victor saw and in and took it. He kidnapped his own grandchild — Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain) — and has been holding her hostage away from Valentin while he forces his son to be his operative. It was never very likely that Victor didn’t have more hostages stowed away, and it isn’t now.

GH Spoilers — Robert Scorpio Comes Calling

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has already conveyed to Valentin that she assumed he was planning to kill his father. The peas-in-a-pod WSB agents can talk casually about these things under the sheets. Anna hasn’t judged Valentin for entertaining the idea, given that Victor has his little girl. But that’s not all Victor has.

Anna’s ex-husband, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) has had a tough year. Finding out his partner, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), was dead came as a crushing blow. It never truly sat right with him though, and he continued to search for answers about what really happened to her — even if she was gone.

Robert is going to stumble upon a clue that finally unravels the whole mystery and leads him to believe Holly is still alive. The only problem is she’s being held captive by Valentin, too. This will put Anna in a tough spot where she feels for both her current love, Valentin, and her ex and dearest friend, Robert. Ultimately, Valentin will concede and halt his plans to kill his father to give Robert more time to find Holly. This will come at a great expense to Valentin, who will have to leave Charlotte in Victor’s clutches and continue to pretend he doesn’t know where she is while he does Victor’s bidding.

Valentin and Robert have never been fans of one another, but Robert has been respectful of Anna’s relationship with Valentin so far. Now they’re going to have to work together to rescue Charlotte and Holly. They’ll rescue Holly first, who will help lead them to another cell she believes someone else is being held in, assuming it’s Charlotte. What — or who — they find instead will stun all of them. Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) is alive, and he will be the key to rescuing Charlotte! How will Laura Collins feel about Luke bringing her granddaughter safely back to Port Charles?
