The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Abby And Devon Clash, Tucker Has Grandfather Rights?

Restless - Abby Newman-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway)The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease that Abby Newman-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) are on a collision course. Abby doesn’t want Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) anywhere near Dominic Chancellor (River and Rainn Ware) but his birth father Devon thinks Tucker should have grandfather rights.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Devon Hamilton Sympathizes

Devon sympathizes with his birth father, who didn’t find get to know him until he was an adult. Devon knows that he wants his time with Dominic and Tucker never had that chance with him. As far as Devon – and Tucker – know, Devon is his only child and Dominic is Devon’s only child, and grandparents share special bonds with grandchildren if they’re allowed to.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon and Abby have had their go-rounds when he was worried about a newly home Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) PTSD episodes upsetting the baby. A protective Devon felt Dominic would be emotionally safer if he lived with him for a while, and it nearly wound up in court.

Y & R Spoilers – Overreacting Just A Tad?

Abby’s so wound up over Tucker’s reappearance in town that she’s trying to assemble an army against him so that he can’t come near her son or her mother. She tried to enlist Chance, but he acts like he thinks she’s overreacting just a tad, allowing for that people can and do change for the better. Of course, Chance is related to Tucker – however distantly, with Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) having been Tucker’s mother and his grandmother by virtue of marriage to his grandfather. They aren’t related by blood just by marriage a few generations going back, but still on branches of the same family tree. This doesn’t make Abby a happy camper, as a matter of fact she’s furious at him.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Collision Course

Devon has his visitation times with Dominic when he can have him to himself, and that was a hard fight to win, with many squabbles with Abby. He has already told Tucker he can meet and visit with Dominic when he has him; Devon will make sure the baby is safe, Abby need not fear dire consequences. Abby has a huge grudge and a deep seated hatred for Tucker, she even ran him over when she was a teenager although she claimed it was an accident.

Devon hates to do things on the sneak but Abby’s attitudes against his birth father will force him into it. Devon doesn’t want to deny his biological son getting to know his biological grandfather.
