General Hospital Spoilers: Dante’s Past Might Cost Him Sam

General Hospital spoilers show Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has been in Port Charles since 2009. His earlier days were a little more spotty, but Dante was always a mostly by-the-book guy. He lives his life by police code, and he’s no dirty cop. He was never going to give his dad, mobster Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) a pass of any kind, and he made that clear from the start when he tried to take him down. They’ve since developed a solid relationship of mutual respect for each other, but Dante remains steadfast with his morals.

General Hospital Spoilers — Cody Belle Knows The Truth

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) blew into town – literally, while skydiving – and immediately reconnected with Dante. Was it by chance? Maybe, but Cody could’ve orchestrated it as well. He could have tracked Dante down and decided he was going wherever Dante was. He may have figured out Mac Scorpio (John J. York) was possibly hisafather, and that he worked with his old pal Dante. The options are endless.

Regardless, it’s clear there is a backstory with Cody and Dante.  The first time Dante introduced Cody to his girlfriend, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), he told stories of he and Cody meeting at a summer camp together at age twelve, and making it a point to meet up annually after that. The camp was a place to send kids to learn to behave better, but no more emphasis was given than that. Could it have been something more akin to juvy? Likely not, because the PCPD would know that kind of thing about Dante’s past.

Recently, we found out Cody took the blame for a crime Dante committed when they were younger. What could that crime have been? It sounds like Dante’s childhood looks perfect on paper, but Cody helped him get there. On the flipside, Cody’s life has been very different from Dante’s, and he continues to engage in questionable behavior, such as blackmailing Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and assaulting Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). Could Cody be holding a grudge against Dante for setting him on a different path in life by letting Cody take the fall for something he did?

GH Spoilers — Mac Might Start Digging

Now that Mac and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) have become aware Cody may be joining them for their next family portrait, Mac might be wise to do a bit more digging into Cody’s past. Surely he’s asking around about Cody, but what might a background check reveal? If Mac goes poking around into Cody’s past, is he going to find out Dante isn’t who he thought he was all these years?
