General Hospital Spoilers: Reiko’s Child: Elizabeth’s Half-sibling?

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveals Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) has been struggling with memories she can’t account for most of this year. Initially, she thought the visions she was having were nothing more than her grief from losing her late husband, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) manifesting emotions into things that never really happened. But as she came to realize who the parties involved were in her memory, she only came to be more traumatized. What Elizabeth may unearth next could change the entire course of her life, and the lives of many people she loves.

General Hospital Spoilers – Jeff Webber Returns

Jeff Webber (Richard Dean Anderson) hasn’t set foot in Port Charles since the eighties – that we know of anyway. However, his distant role in his daughter, Elizabeth’s, life has remained in our peripheral focus. While many of us are waiting to see if Richard Dean Anderson will reprise this role, the truth is, he already has in a way. Last fall, Jeff tried to track his daughter down at GH, and left word with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) to let Elizabeth know he called.

It was only then that Elizabeth shared that she’d already heard from him once when Franco died. When Spring rolled around, Jake Spencer (Hudson West) revealed to Elizabeth that he had been chatting with Jeff and Carolyn Webber using a computer at the library. Why have Jeff and Carolyn taken an interest in Elizabeth’s life at this juncture? What could Franco’s death have brought to the surface for them? Perhaps there’s more to this story that is bringing up memories for more people than just Elizabeth.

GH Spoilers — Hamilton Finn And Violet Cassadine Are In Store For More

Elizabeth’s disturbing memory starts with her struggling with a woman as they both stand at the top of the stairs. She can hear herself telling the woman to stay away from her father — Jeff. However, there is no response from the mystery woman. Then, Elizabeth has a faint memory of the same woman lying at the bottom of a staircase. The staircase is similar to that of the one we saw Peter August (Wes Ramsey) lying at the base of at GH. Could this woman have also been pushed down a flight of stairs at GH — or somewhere else?

The real question weighing on Elizabeth’s mind is whether she was the person who pushed her, especially now that she’s come to realize who the woman was. It was only when Elizabeth saw a picture of Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) late wife, Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara), that she put the two together. Elizabeth is now left scrambling to understand how her past is connected to Finn’s when neither of them knew each other when Reiko was alive.

More surprises are in store though as Elizabeth comes to realize the woman in the memory lying at the base of those stairs was noticeably pregnant. Will she assume the baby was Finn’s? Why wouldn’t Finn have known about that child, given that he was present at the time of Reiko’s alleged death? Is Reiko really gone, and if she is, what happened to the baby?

General Hospital Spoilers – Indicates Elizabeth Webber And Hamilton Finn Could Weather This Storm

As Elizabeth starts to put the pieces together, she will realize the key players involved have fewer than six degrees of separation. Her sister, Hayden Barnes (Rubecca Budig), may also play a role. Was her father, Jeff, having an affair with Finn’s wife, Reiko? If Reiko was pregnant, was it Jeff’s child — making it Elizabeth’s half sibling? Or might Reiko actually have been pregnant with Finn’s baby? Can anyone really handle Finn having yet another surprise kid out there tied to Elizabeth’s family keeping it a secret? What do you think is in store for Finn and Elizabeth? Will they be able to keep their relationship together as everything else they thought they knew about their pasts falls apart?
