The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will open up to someone about Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). It looks like she’s made the decision to stay with her mother indefinitely in Virginia, so for all intents and purposes, they’ve parted ways.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Naya Benedict May Never Recover

Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) may never recover from the stroke she suffered, and both Amanda and her half-sister Imani Benedict (most recently Denise Boutte) are in Virginia indefinitely.

It’s a very sad situation and for Amanda, only knowing her birth mother comparatively recently, she wants to have all the time with her she possibly can. Devon can’t blame her; his late wife, Amanda’s twin Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) would have done the same thing-he understands, but her absence affects him deeply.

Perhaps it’s good that his own birth father, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) returned to town when he did; after a good talk with him he’s a little more trusting. He decides to open up to Tucker about his distress with losing Amanda and her being Hilary’s twin, although it turns out Tucker knew.

Even though Devon hadn’t been in touch with Tucker since Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will had been contested, which is when he met Amanda, Tucker’s kept up. Tucker knew about his biological grandson Dominic Chancellor (River and Rainn Ware) and hopes to get a chance to meet him soon and spend a little time with him.

One thing Devon and Tucker certainly have in common is family being important, music and the music business being another. It was very difficult being around Amanda at first, with her being such a reminder of Devon’s pain in losing Hilary. He tells Tucker how he gradually warmed up to her and helped her find her and Hilary’s birth mother and half-sister; the two were legal counsel for Chancellor-Winters.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Will They Ever Return?

Tucker understands how it is difficult to try and maintain such a long-distance relationship and asks Devon if he thinks Amanda and Imani will ever return. Devon says it’s difficult to say because Naya could linger for months or even years in her medical condition, and Amanda chose to ask Devon not to move with her.

She wanted to deal with this on her own and let him stay behind to deal with their very important business situations, although he wanted to be by her side.

It’s a tough situation to be in and very tough to deal with, Devon feels like he’s on the outside and not being allowed to look in. But he’s glad he’s come to enough of an understanding with his birth father, Tucker, to at least trust him with some things like talking about this situation.
