Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Stu Carpenter finally gets justice in his hands following his recent court hearing.
In the past episode of the longest-running soap, the truth had been revealed after Stu’s (Bill Fellows) daughter, Bridget (Beth Vyse), admitted the person behind Charlie’s death. It all started when young Eliza asked her grandfather about what it’s like to stay in prison. Listening to their conversation, Bridget shed painful tears as she knew that her father was truly innocent.
The loving dad comforted his daughter and shared his sentiments about paying the price of a crime he never committed. Devoured with guilt, Bridget finally spoke the truth and came clean to her father. She admitted how jealous she has become when she thought that Stu spent more time with Charlie than with his own family, leading her to hit the woman in the head.

On the other hand, Lucy (Lynda Rooke) helped her daughter to clean up her bloody mess. Determined to protect Bridget, the matriarch let the formerly homeless man face the painful consequences. Stu couldn’t believe his ears but because of his desire to build a relationship with his granddaughter, he doesn’t want to pursue the case.
However, lawyer Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) told Alya (Sair Khan) via voicemail regarding the DNA results found in Charlie’s body. Will Stu be finally free from his alleged criminal case?

Following Bridget’s revelation, Eliza was left with Stu as the youngster’s mom started to face the consequences. However, the social worker didn’t appreciate the idea due to the old man’s current conviction.
In the upcoming scenes of the popular ITV soap, Stu Carpenter joins his lawyer Dee-Dee for another court hearing. As the discussion is going on, the old man hopes that his sentence will be revoked so he can have his granddaughter, Eliza, live with him. Later that day, Stu happily approaches Yasmeen (Shelley King) and tells her about his overturned conviction.
However, their celebration cuts off when Stu mentions the need to move out from the Nazirs as his granddaughter needs to have a room of her own. Will Yasmeen allow the man to go? Will this cause another relationship problem in the future?
