The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will lean on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) in the weeks ahead. Her whole world is closing in. It certainly doesn’t help matters that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is on a mission to ruin her. The question on the Y&R viewers’ minds is, will Jack stay in her corner when everything comes out?

The power struggle between Diane and Phyllis isn’t new. They’ve been at each other’s throats since Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was an infant. But this time, Phyllis is sure she can dig up something so bad that it will send Diane out of Genoa City for good. Most Y&R viewers know it might not be that simple. If it were, 75% of the characters would not be in Genoa City, Including Phyllis.

Diane appears to be genuine, but it’s hard to trust her. She has a way of looking sincere when she is lying through her teeth. Phyllis knows this, and that’s why she doesn’t trust her. However, Jack wants to believe Diane and urges Phyllis to give her the benefit of the double.

There is a storm closing in on Diane. Her connection to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is only the tip of the iceberg. If she manages to get her grubby little paws on the Jabot financial documents Tucker wants, that could cause tension with Jack.

The one thing Jack values above anything is family and Jabot. He considers Diane a family member, his son Kyle’s mother. But if she conspires with Tucker to take over Jabot, they could get ugly. At that point, Diane would want to return to the days when Phyllis came after her.

The Y&R spoilers aren’t clear about what’s ahead for Diane. We only know that she’s sticking around and to expect explosive drama. Jack will support Diane as long as he can. However, if Diane crosses the line and helps Tucker take over Jabot, Jack could (most likely would) withdraw his support, and she would be alone fighting for her life against Phyllis, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
