General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Finds A Traitor, Feeds False Info To Mislead Victor!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is back in Port Charles, no longer working remotely as mayor of Port Charles. Laura had to leave the country when her mother, Leslie Webber’s (Denise Alexander) house burned to the ground, most likely set by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to take Laura’s attention away from discovering Victor’s secret plans.

Laura left Port Charles to help her mother get settled in her new place but that doesn’t mean she is neglecting her mayoral duties. And now thanks to a heads-up from Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) she realizes her assistant is spying on her for Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).

General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins Sets A Trap!

Laura knows how to handle a spy so look for her to purposely feed the Assistant Mayor incorrect information. Victor will soon be led on a wild goose chase thanks to the fake information. Laura will then confront her assistant and will certainly fire her for disclosing privileged city information to unauthorized people, most notably Victor. This should allow Laura and the rest of her allies the time they need to keep Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) out of Pentonville.

GH Spoilers – Martin Grey Will Confront Laura Collins Regarding Anna Devane!

Currently, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) believes that Anna shot Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Although a body hasn’t been found, Lucy is believed dead. Victor has planted enough evidence to successfully frame Anna, and at the moment Martin is convinced. He won’t understand how Laura still believes in Anna’s innocence despite the fabricated evidence. Laura will convince Martin that she knows Anna quite well and that Martin should trust Laura’s judgment. If he has any hope of finding out Lucy’s true fate, then Anna is the best person to find her and save her. Martin should eventually come around,

Now that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is no longer under Victor’s thumb, he will make Anna’s legal issues his main priority. He certainly won’t allow Anna to go to prison, so look for him to break her out. Laura won’t be able to officially condone Valentin’s illegal actions, but she could very well instruct Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to focus on other cases, like the Hook killer. This will allow Anna and Valentin to have a better chance of avoiding authorities while they prove her innocence and bring Lucy home. Laura will do everything in her power to stop Victor from her position as mayor, but she knows that Victor is too powerful to be stopped by anything she can do as mayor.
