General Hospital Rumors: Victor’s Manipulation, Britt Never Had Huntington’s Markers

General Hospital spoilers reveals Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has been living under the black cloud of a Huntington’s Disease diagnosis for the last year and a half. When Britt took off of hiatus as a fugitive from justice with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), it was only with his support that she had the nerve to check into a hospital under an alias and be tested for the markers her father Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) may have passed on to her. Given that she didn’t use her real name when she had the test done, it has never occurred to her that anyone could have possibly messed with the results. Besides, who would do that? Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy), that’s who!

General Hospital Spoilers — Victor Cassadine Has Eyes And Ears Everywhere

Although no one became aware of Victor’s status as a living and breathing man until September of 2021, he was keeping tabs on the people he loves — and loves to control — most from afar. Given that Victor has a longstanding obsession with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Britt was one of those people that he never let get too far out of his sight. Letting others be his eyes and ears, Victor had only the best security professionals and handlers following Britt and others in recent years and making sure he knew what each of them were up to.

When Britt checked in to a Canadian hospital, Victor was sure to want to know about that. It was a small feat for him to pay a lab clerk to falsify Britt’s results and let her think she has the markers for Huntington’s when she does not. While it might seem like a cruel joke, emotional leverage is something Victor is quite comfortable using against his enemies.
