Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Debbie Webster (Sue Deveney) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) will fall out over the Bistro sale. Will the pair patch things up, or will their feud continue?
Fans may recall that money has been tight for Debbie and Ed after the latter injured himself accidentally while working at the hotel. Her original plan was to sell her hotels so she could raise enough cash that would help her with her financial troubles.
Debbie only had two offers for her hotel, so she took Ronnie Bailey’s (Vinta Morgan) advice and decided to sell her share of the Bistro.
Debbie told Nick about her plan and gave him one week to buy her out. The former had no clue that the latter and Leanne were already planning to sell their shares, too.
In upcoming scenes, Debbie will find a potential buyer, and she’ll show her around the Bistro. Leanne will learn about it and will sabotage the sale. Debbie will discover Leanne’s plans, which will result in their falling out. Because of Leanne’s actions, Debbie now tries to sell the entire Bistro.
Will Leanne admit her mistake and apologize to Debbie for what she’s done? Or will the pair continue with their feud, putting the sale of the Bistro at risk?
Coronation Street Spoilers – Ciaran Griffiths Joins The Cast Of Coronation Street
Meanwhile, Coronation Street will be welcoming Ciaran Griffiths as Damon, Jacob’s (Jack James Ryan) father. Damon will be looking for his son, who left home and arrived at the cobbles last year, as he tries to leave his awful past behind.
But with Damon around, Jacob’s new life with Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) will be threatened. Even his job at the factory may be put at risk as he tries to make his father leave town.
The actor who plays Damon, Ciaran Griffiths, has previously appeared on EastEnders, The Bay, and Casualty. He’s been in Australia for 3 years, and he’s excited to be back in Manchester.
“And what better way to tie it in than with a stint on the cobbles? I watched Corrie as a kid and it’s great to be back with some old friends both cast and crew,” the actor said.
“I’m loving having the opportunity to work with some quality Northern actors whose work I have long admired, particularly on such a complex character like Damon,” Griffiths shared.
