General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Worries She’s Losing Sonny To Carly’s Memory

General Hospital spoilers tease Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has been a bundle of nerves since the moment Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) jumped into bed with her. Securing him hasn’t been easy. The formative months of their relationship — that between Nina and “Mike” — were uncut for Nina by constant feelings that she would ultimately lose him.

Of course, she did. Finding their way back to one another again was no small feat, and now that Sonny claims to only want to be with Nina, she’s having a hard time accepting that as truth. Moreover, she knows Sonny’s history with his ex-wife and that he has a track record of losing his cool just as soon as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) starts trying to move on.

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Spencer Is Forging Ahead

Carly was preoccupied with her children when she left Sonny in the dust, and her heart was broken at how things ended when she found him in bed with Nina. Still, she’s moving on, and she’s on her way to finding love again. Of course, it’s with someone he knows — Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). While Nina is aware of Carly’s new love interest, Sonny isn’t, and Nina would like to keep it that way for as long as possible.

GH Spoilers – Indicate Nina Reeves Is Stressed Over Sonny Corinthos’s Past

In the past, whenever Sonny and Carly parted ways, he would move on right away. Quite often, he technically moved on before he even called it quits with Carly. Nina knows his reputation as a womanizer, and she knows there’s no pretty way to paint the truth that he cheated on his wife with her.

So what’s stopping him from cheating on her with Carly? Nothing, and he probably wouldn’t feel all that bad about going home again. That’s really what this is about. Carly is home for Sonny, and Nina isn’t going to be able to replicate that. She will continue to grow more anxious about all the times Sonny has tried to watch Carly move on with another man, and knows he will feel compelled to intervene.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Corinthos Might Snap

When Sonny thought something might have been going on between Carly and Brick (Stephen A. Smith), he couldn’t rest until he spoke to Brick. He pushed for details that Brick wasn’t willing to give, but Sonny knows he can trust Brick’s word. If he said nothing happened, then nothing happened.

Nina saw this as a glimpse into the future, and she’s worried that when Sonny finds out something is going on with Carly and Drew, he won’t be so quick to back down. Does Sonny still think he has a say in who Carly spends her time with? Does he still look at Carly as though she is his wife? Nina is sure to find out.
