Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – The Early Years

Megan first appears in 1984, coming to Salem with her adoptive father Maxwell Hathaway (Tom Hallick). She is a daughter of Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) by blood, and had been the first love, in high school, of Bo. Unfortunately, she had broken Bo’s heart so badly that he later had trouble fully committing to Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) who he would eventually marry.

As for Megan, she thought Bo had left her, never answering her letters and broke her heart as completely as he thought she’d broken his. Later she discovered her mother interfered between them and broke them up, after Bo left town.

DOOL Spoilers – Megan Hathaway’s Obsession Begins

Megan became obsessed with Bo, willing to do anything to get him back; she tells him she was pregnant with his child after he left town, having reconnected. She claimed she gave their child up for adoption at her mother’s insistence, and he softens towards her. However, he begins to doubt her once Roman Brady (now Josh Taylor) tells Bo he saw Megan in an abortion clinic during that time. Megan turns her attentions to her ailing birth father Stefano and begins looking for three prisms that are needed to cure his brain cancer. Meanwhile, Bo helps her search for their child, and finds Megan conspired to have Diane Parker (DeAnna Robbins) killed to steal her child and pass it off as his.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Andre DiMera Kills Maxwell Hathaway

Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) arrives and there is fierce sibling rivalry between him and Megan. He kills her adoptive father, but soon she begins running a cartel for Stefano. This is also during the time of the plane crash on a deserted island that brings Hope and Bo closer than ever, after the death of Larry Welch (Andrew Hyatt Masset). He was Hope’s first husband but also Megan’s drug lackey for the cartel, and Hope exposed it on a live news report that her marriage to Larry was a sham.

DOOL Spoilers – Megan Hathaway Dies

In 1985, Megan tries to kill Hope by electrocuting her in a hot tub at Chris Kositchek’s (then Josh Taylor) health club, The Body Connection. Megan’s plot backfired when she overheard Larry talking to a Russian contact about three prisms his father invented, which is what she’s looking for. Megan confronts Larry and they get in a struggle, Larry killing her accidentally and dumping her in the hot tub; Hope is charged with her murder.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Megan Hathaway’s Resurrection

In 2022, it was revealed Megan is alive, having been frozen cryogenically by Stefano. She had Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) kidnap Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn), and Steve remembers and recognizes her. Thomas Banks, (Eileen Davidson) Susan Banks’ (Stacy Haiduk) brother brings Megan one of the prisms and planned to brainwash Steve and John to steal the other two.

Steve and John were rescued by their wives, and in the winter promo it shows Megan has successfully resurrected Bo in a cryogenic tube. However, her joy turns to disappointment when she asks him to say something, and all he says is “Where’s Hope?”!
