British royal family news shows that Prince William and Kate Middleton are the subject of baby rumors and this is not sitting well with some royal experts. Who in the world has a frown at the thought of a smiling baby? Believe it or not there are some grinches who would rather that the Wales’ not have baby number four. Which critics are dim on the prospect of a fourth baby for Kate and William? ITV News’s royal editor Chris Ship let it slip that he is not keen for the Wales’ to add to their brood of three. As if he would be the one to pay for diapers and college!

After airing his sentiment, he got some grief from environmentalists as well as the grandmas.

Ship stepped into it by saying: “William is campaigning more and more on environmental matters. A lot of people say that actually, in the interest of the planet, you shouldn’t be having four children.”

This would be an excellent place to share the news that William’s brother and fellow eco-warrior Prince Harry ascribes to this theory. He has claimed that he and wife Meghan are allowed only two kids, which they now have, in order to save the earth from collapse.

Ship doubled down to say, “I’m sure William might open himself up to some criticism from that, sort of, green lobby if he were to have a fourth.”

In the end however the tart tongued pundit admitted that this decision is entirely up to the royal couple. “It’s entirely possible, you know,” he said, “Kate might have a fourth. Although, you know, remember William and Kate are in their forties.” Which of course is ancient. Mr. Ship, haven’t you heard that 40 is the new 30?

Ship also dished that he once met Kate at of all places, a maternity ward. According to him, “Even before I turned up at the hospital, I thought how long before I start seeing stories about ‘Kate sees a baby’, ‘Kate’s, therefore, broody’, ‘Kate’s going to have a fourth.’”

Not if he has anything to do with it.
