The Bold And The Beautiful Star Denise Richards Looks Forward To Emotional Holidays After Special Reunion

The Bold And The Beautiful (B&B) star Denise Richards (Shauna Fulton) recently survived a scary road rage incident. But with the holidays beginning, Denise welcomed a new reason to feel grateful. And the Bold And The Beautiful star looks forward to celebrating a special family reunion.

Bold And The Beautiful Star Denise Richards Talks Parenting

Families divided can make holidays extra challenging. But when they reunite, it turns holiday time into a season for thanks. And Denise Richards recognizes that fact. The Bold And The Beautiful star looks forward to her holidays after reconciling with her oldest daughter Sami, 18, reported Hello magazine.

But Denise went through some struggles with Sami before reconciling. Last year, Sami moved out of the house. And the 18-year-old defiantly insisted on moving in with her father, Denise’s ex Charlie Sheen. But beyond the move, Sami also upset her famous mother with her words. For instance, the teenager called Richards’ home a “hell house.” And she complained she felt “trapped” living with her mother.

During the separation, Denise shared on Jeff Lewis’ Sirius XM show about her relationship with Sami. And she admitted it remained “strained.” But the Bold And The Beautiful star shared that she hoped she could reconcile. And she discussed parenting in Los Angeles. “I think it’s very difficult raising teenagers now,” reflected Denise. “And especially in Los Angeles when there’s access to everything. We didn’t grow up with Postmates and Uber where you have everything that you want.”

Denise Richards’ Daughter Makes Peace With Mom’s Rules

However, the Bold And The Beautiful star also explained that she wanted Sami to understand her rules. And Denise clarified that she created “certain rules and I enforce them. [But at Charlie’s], there’s different rules at that house and that’s okay.” As a result, Richards sought to offer Sami a choice.

And earlier this year, the reconciliation that Denise hoped for occurred. Sami shared the reunion on Mother’s Day. “Happy mother’s day!! I love u so much mom. u have no idea how grateful i am to have u in my life,” wrote the 18-year-old. 

And Richards later shared that the two had enjoyed time together. Responding to the post, Denise shared, “Thank you Sami for an amazing Mother’s Day. It means a lot to me. I know nana was at dinner with us she would never miss one of her favorite restaurants. Thank you & I love you so much.” 

Since then, Sami and Denise have become even closer. And that will make this holiday season extra special for the Bold And The Beautiful star. Denise also expressed thanks on Twitter for the support after the scary road rage incident.

The road rage incident impacted both Denise and her husband Aaron, with a random driver shooting at their car. Visibly shaken, Richards later was seen crying on her phone over the incident. But as she shared on Twitter, she feels grateful for receiving so much “love and support.”
