Prince William And Kate’s US Visit Reveals If They Differ From Prince Harry And Meghan

Royal family experts often compare brothers Prince William and Prince Harry. And those comparisons frequently lead to contrasting their wives, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. But an upcoming United States tour for Will and Kate reveal the dramatic differences.

Prince William, Princess Kate – Will Give Award In United States

Eight years have passed since Kate Middleton and Prince William last visited the United States. And what a difference those years made! For instance, at that time, William had not even become a full-time working member of the royal family. And his brother, Prince Harry, remained single and happy to mingle without ever encountering his future bride Meghan Markle, pointed out Page Six.

However, this trip begins in a very different era for the new Princess and Prince of Wales. And life for Meghan and Harry has changed dramatically as well. But for Kate and William, the visit to Boston comes with a very set goal. And the two plan to present the Earthshot Prize as a way to demonstrate the differences. 

However, palace insiders insisted that Princess Kate and Prince William do not plan to make an official royal tour. But despite that claim, the couple wants to send a clear message through their tour. And the timing may prove interesting as well with regard to William’s brother Harry and his wife Meghan.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle – Plan Celebrity Trip To Receive Award

Only four days after William and Kate return home, Meghan and Harry will travel to New York City. And they will receive the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope award. As a result, an insider pointed out the differences in the two. Because while Kate and William will make their voyage to give an award, Harry and Meghan will jet to NYC to receive one.

“It’s not bad to receive an award,” noted the royal source. “But it shows the fundamental difference.” William and Kate will present the Earthshot Prize as part of their royal duties. And it shows their focus on “working on behalf of others versus being a celebrity,” noted the insider.

However, the source also pointed out that Harry and William grew up in the royal spotlight. “But now they’re reached a different stage in their public lives,” added the source. As a result, the two have become focused on very different ambitions. 

And in the same way, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have become increasingly different. For instance, Kate possesses the same ability as Princess Diana to combine humanitarian efforts with “glamour,” noted royal expert Bethan Holt. And Holt added, “If anyone can combine talking about something very seriously with delivering this huge boost of royalty, it’s William and Kate.” As a result, the couple’s trip to the United State offers them a chance to “re-establish that connection” with Diana.
