After the soap fans learned that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) planned a business trip to Los Angeles and asked Nate to tag along, they assumed they would hook up. However, on Wednesday, November 30, Nate asked Elena to come on a business trip with her to have a romantic getaway. As a bonus, he asked her to move her podcast to Newman Media. That way, the couple would work together again.
