Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Chad DiMera growing jealous of Stephanie Johnson’s romance with Alex Kiriakis, but actor Billy Flynn isn’t even sure if Chad is ready for love again.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Sad Year For Chad

Chad thought he finally had it all. He and Abigail DiMera were finally happily married and planning on having a third child when Abby was brutally murdered this past summer and Chad’s life spun out of control.

After a desperate search for her killer, Chad finally figured out it was Clyde Weston (James Read) who did the deed and brought the sociopath to justice before he was able to marry Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo). During this time, Chad also developed a friendship with a newly-returned Stephanie Johnson and they even worked on a few capers together.

However, Stephanie knows Chad isn’t ready for more just yet and has finally decided to give Alex the time of day. What does Billy Flynn think of this turn of events for his character and is he ready for more with Stephanie or anyone who is not Abby?

“If you look at it in terms of how real life is,” Flynn told SheKnow Soaps. “You’re lucky to find one true love. I think Chad found it [with Abby]…I don’t know if I’ll ever be a part of Chad and Abby again. In our genre, it’s tough because the fans are so loyal to the couples that they fall in love with.”

With both Marci Miller and Kate Mansi not wanting to be on contract, Flynn is right that Abby might never be resurrected as so many characters are, but for now, he is enjoying Chad’s friendship with Stephanie, calling Abigail Klein “amazing.”

“We have great chemistry,” he said. “I think with where fans are right now, you’re not supposed to be rooting for them to be a supercouple. You’re just rooting for them to help one another.”
