General Hospital spoilers reveals Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has had her eye on Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) for some time now. Whether passing by him at the PCPD on her way to meet with yet another criminal he’s scooped off the streets of Port Charles, or bumping into him at the bar of the Metro Court Hotel, they’ve become well-acquainted.

Their latest attempt to sit down as friends over drinks went left rather quickly when Robert was drugged and landed in the hospital. Although he was in on the plan the whole time, Diane wasn’t. Will that stifle their shot at romance? Word on the street is it won’t, but something else might.

Every time Diane circles around Robert in hopes of scoring some face time with him, tragedy strikes, or drama, or crime, or an ex-wife comes back to life or goes on the run. Robert is a very busy man with many unusual contacts. Diane might be a bit hesitant at this point to even dare ask if he has time in his schedule to pencil her in, but she hasn’t lost interest. She’s just waiting for the right opportunity to present itself at the right time. Unfortunately, the exact wrong time is going to present itself first.

Diane might be attracted to Robert, and he may return those feelings, but these two are working on opposite sides of the law to an extent. Diane is all about justice, for her accused clients who are often criminals. Robert is fighting the good fight to keep those people off the streets of Port Charles. One of the most notorious criminals in Port Charles history is most certainly Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). When Sonny is arrested and Diane is at his side ready to defend his latest egregious act, Robert is going to pitted against every interest she has. Maybe there is too much conflict for these two to couple up.
