General Hospital spoilers reveal Britt forging ahead with that big birthday party she has planned for New Year’s Eve. It’s her first-ever birthday party and she wonders if it will be her last.

General Hospital Spoilers – What Will Britt Westborne Do?

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) had a Christmas she didn’t expect in which she delivered a breech baby whom the mother named Britta Noelle right in the Q living room. She even had to get there by motorcycle. Except for Austin Holt (Roger Howarth), nobody knows she plans on skipping town right after her big New Year’s Eve birthday blowout, but she might be having second thoughts.

For the first time ever, Britt actually feels like a part of something and as if people really care for her. She has grown weary of being known as The Britch but realizes people haven’t called her that in a very long time for a very good reason. Now, it’s up to Austin to see if he can talk her out of leaving PC.

GH Spoilers – Britt Westborne Is More Torn Than She Ever Expected

Most fans know that Kelly Thiebaud has already taped her last scenes at GH, so somehow Britt is getting written off GH, but will it be by leaving town of her own free will? It’s certainly what Britt wants to do — or at least thinks she should do.

“She doesn’t want people to see what Huntington’s will do to her,” Thiebaud said in the January 9, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “At the party, she wants to forget about the disease. She wants to be able to have fun in the moment with the people in her life that she’s grown really close to and support her.”

And Britt does have fun, but that doesn’t mean Austin isn’t a very persistent friend.

“He reminds her that she has so many people in Port Charles who love her,” Thiebaud said. “And when she’s surrounded by all that love at the party, I do think she starts to question, ‘Wait, what am I doing?'”
