Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Xander Cook is a man that you can love or simply love to hate on any given day. But fans knew that already, right? While he’s certainly made an effort to turn his wrongs into rights over the years, it seems like he still has a long way to go before he sees any redemption in his life. With that said, it seems like Xander’s new year will be full of surprises. Here’s what you need to know.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers- Xander Cook’s New Year Will Be Full Of Surprises
Seeing how Xander is already under suspicion for kidnapping Bonnie, he surprises Sarah with a trip to Greece. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Paul Telfer, who plays Xander on the hit Peacock soap, puts it this way, “Xander thinks that he may have gotten away with this in the near term, and the best thing to do is to get out of there before anything else comes up. So why not have a nice romantic getaway and also get Sarah away from anybody who might notice and reveal any more clues or inconsistencies in Xander and Gwen’s coverup? While the coast is clear, he wants to get the hell out of Salem.”
But before all that happened, there were happier times between Xander and Sarah. In July, Xander realized that life is too short to not take the opportunity to do the things you want to do and that’s why he told Sarah that they should get married.
DOOL Spoilers – What’s Next For Xander?
In November, Paul admitted that Xander isn’t the same man that he used to be. According to Daytime Confidential, while at a recent Days of Our Lives event, Paul opened up about his character and all of the changes he’s seen over the years. He said, “It’s not that I preferred Xander as a villain. It’s nice when you get to change. He’s a different kind of villain than he used to be. He’s always kidnapped women and children but now, he feels bad about it. You can see the empathy he has for his victims and is aware of the damage he’s doing.”
Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next! In the meantime, let us know what you think by leaving us a line with your thoughts in our comments section below. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on the NBC network. Check your local listings for times.
