British royal family news shows that 2022 was the year Prince Harry and Meghan Markle finally good on their promise to get to work and actually earn the millions thrown at them by Spotify and Netflix. The results were less than stellar, with their podcast panned and their docuseries mocked.

Ironically, while the so-called Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been dragged for their over the top oeuvre du jour, the Kennedy Family made them heroes in their own minds by giving them an award previously given to Barack Obama and Joe Biden. This is how low standards have fallen in a post-Covid world apparently.

After their gaudy display of trashy gossiping royal experts and fans have accused them of profiting by snitching on the royal family. One critic accused the couple of, “selling their souls with breathless vulgarity.” At the very least it appears to many that they have used the royal card to sell their wares to the highest bidder.

Tom Bower, who wrote “Revenge: Meghan, Harry And The War Between The Windsors,” just opened fire on the thirsty pair who brayed that they HAD to ditch their royal roles in 2020 to, “protect their privacy.” Which is why they went on to sell themselves to a streamer and a podcaster?

About their financial thuggery, Bower declares that the royal runaways, “have sold their souls with breathless vulgarity.”

Harry and Meghan’s Netflix show seemed to be the last straw for those on the fence about the whiners. It was filled with vain selfies and glimpses of Meghan routinely crying as if cued for a soap opera. Reaction on social media was brutal, the comments about their egotistical display of narcissism savage.

This week the final dagger of public opinion is in and it isn’t good. Politico branded Prince Harry’s wife in the same boat as Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Kanye West, Elizabeth Holmes and Sam Bankman-Fried. What do these shameless braggarts and con artists have in common? The outlet accuses each of being a narcissist and goes on to say the public has lost interest in them.

Additionally, Andrew Wallenstein, chief media analyst at Variety Intelligence Platform, wrote: “It’s not that Harry and Meghan don’t have a story worth telling … But telling the story ad nauseam has diminishing returns. At some point, even the dimmest of minds among their fans is going to tire of their Oh, woe is us’ routine as they play the victim card again and again.” Looks like 2022 is that year.
