British royal family news divulges that Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir, Spare, debuts January 9. Once word got out that Harry was scribbling his life story (actually a ghost writer was entrusted with the task) royal watchers began to theorize what Harry would rant about, and with good reason.
The hot headed brat has done nothing but complain about his pampered upbringing for the last two years. In 2020 he launched Megxit, his and wife Meghan Markle’s exit from the monarchy.
Since then they have whined to Oprah Winfrey and various other personalities about the harsh treatment they encountered while living free and clear at the palace, ie, having his allowance being taken away.

Some royal pundits believe the tome will spell doom for Harry’s father, King Charles. But Yahoo reports that an insider maintains this is not the case. Who, then, does Harry target? According to the source, two members of the British Royal Family receive, “the brunt of his criticism: Prince William and Kate Middleton.”

The outlet reported that sources informed the Sunday Times, per NY Post, “that William and Kate get a lot more brutal descriptions than they expected, saying, Generally, I think the book [will be] worse for them than the royal family is expecting. Everything is laid bare. Charles comes out of it better than I had expected, but it’s tough on William, in particular, and even Kate gets a bit of a broadside. There are these minute details, and a description of the fight between the brothers.”
Apparently the torrid commentary is so bold that one source stated, “I personally can’t see how Harry and William will be able to reconcile after this.”
That will be bad news after last month’s debut of the scorched earth Netflix show, Harry & Meghan, plus, word that Meghan plans her own juicy memoir.

Where does the word ‘spare’ come from? The meaning within the British Royal Family is that you there is a need for, “an heir, and a spare.” In this case William is the golden boy heir, while redheaded Harry is the spare tire, so to speak. His use of the word to title his memoir has some thinking it will be full of fine whine.

Prince Harry is the spare, there is no getting around that. If he has sour grapes about that position, he looks ready to vent in his memoir. According to sources the book will also discuss the loss of his mother Princess Diana in a tragic Paris crash in the mid 90s. No matter the spin, it seems definite that Harry is ready to bare his soul (for millions of course).
