General Hospital Spoilers: Kelly Thiebaud Is Out On GH — But Is Britt Dead?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) really is out on General Hospital. Kelly has wrapped taping her last scenes, and she’s off to spend some one-on-one time with her boyfriend in London, England before she jumps into her role as Eva Vasquez on Station 19.

While we are sad to see ‘The Britch’ move on after years of loving to hate her and then totally falling in love with her, we wish her well on her future endeavors and can only hope she falls in line with many GH veterans and finds herself missing the soap set enough to come back from time to time.

Kelly might be gone from GH, and there may be no plans to recast the character of Britt as she plans to disappear into the night with a terminal illness, but some fans are wondering if her demise is going to come sooner than expected.

General Hospital Spoilers — Britt Westborne’s Mysterious Plan

Britt wants to skip town without a big fuss. She’s intent to slip into the night on New Year’s Eve leaving little word behind. It would be ideal if Britt left a letter for her mother and other important people in her life, like Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). However, it’s most important to her right now that she gets out of town before anyone can try to change her mind, just like Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) has been hoping to. Where is Britt headed? It’s likely she just wants to travel for a while. Where will she end up for long-term care though, and will she loop her loved ones in later? That remains to be seen.

GH Spoilers – Hint It’ll Look Like She’s Left Town

Britt’s plan is to hitch a ride out of town and never look back — or at least not let anyone know she ever looks back. However, someone may be onto her plan, and it’s possible she won’t make it to the plane, train, or automobile she’s planning to take on her way out of town. Instead, someone could divert her transportation or yank her out of town altogether via their own means. Unfortunately, Britt will have teed up everything to look like she meant to go out quietly with a bang, and no one will think anything of it or try to look for her — least of all look for her to be held captive anywhere.

General Hospital Spoilers — Someone Else Has Other Plans

In a massive plot twist, we may come to find that Britt never left Port Chuck on her own accord. Rather, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) — or more likely one of his cronies — will snatch Britt up on her way out of town, leaving no signs of foul play and everyone assuming Britt just vanished by choice on her travels rather than having been scooped up at Vic’s next hostage. How long will he keep her locked up?

We’re hoping for as long as it takes to get Thiebaud back to GH, because we can’t see anyone else in the role. Ready for the massive part of the plot twist? Victor isn’t intent to hold someone captive when he knows they’re terminally ill and on their way out. Britt wouldn’t be much use to him as she deteriorates, but she won’t be, because Vic managed to fake her initial test results, and he may have even coerced Austin to bring that specialist in that he paid to lie to Britt. But how did he fool her when she was experiencing symptoms? Perhaps Vic’s been poisoning Britt the whole time? Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers to find out!
