Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Lucas Hears Of Kate’s Death In Statesville, Moves To End Orpheus?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease an angry and grieving Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) will hear of his mother, Kate Brady’s (Lauren Koslow) death while in Statesville Prison. He knows that it was Orpheus (George DelHoyo) who was responsible for stealing the toxin and administering it, and he’ll move to end Orpheus once at for all!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Couldn’t See Mom The Last Time

Lucas wasn’t allowed to leave the prison and see his mother for the very last time, but she died so quickly he wouldn’t have made it in time anyway. One minute Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) were talking to her, the next minute she was gone and there was nothing Rex could do to save her. Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) went to get the orchid to make the serum for the antidote and the orchid was gone, the last one on earth that could have saved Kate.

Even worse, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will soon succumb to the effects of the toxin in short order. There won’t be anything anyone can do to save them either, Rex had tried to recreate the antidote from other orchids before.

DOOL Spoilers: Enough – This Man Has To Die

Lucas has nothing left to lose there in the prison, taking Orpheus out will be doing the world and the grieving survivors a favor. In prison, one quickly learns that the way to survive is an eye for an eye, and Orpheus has been hurting Lucas’ extended family for years.

The only way to deal with him is to make sure he dies, and he’s put out of every one else’s misery-Roman never meant to kill his wife. It was an accident, and if the grudge won’t die than Orpheus will have to die-that grudge match has been going on for over thirty years now. Lucas is not going to let it go any longer-what if after all the wives die, Orpheus goes after their children and grandchildren-his revenge on the generations?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Lucas Horton’s Family Revenge

It gets nasty between Lucas and Orpheus when Lucas attempts to get family revenge on the killer; Lucas never dreaming he’d be tempted to make a shiv. Lucas knows that prison can change people for the worse, and that’s a fact – no one’s ever called modern day prisons rehab centers. Lucas plots and plans when he’ll go after the years long enemy of his family and extended family and he decides a combination of pillow and shiv might be the way.

He plans to smother him and stab him at the same time, thinking it would be pretty difficult for him to get away. The guards are less than competent or attentive at Statesville these days, and hopes they’re just going to look the other way.
