Royal Family News says that not only would she be absolutely sad, but she would also be totally devastated over it, too. Prince Harry admits that his feud with his brother Prince William would certainly not have sat well with his mother, Princess Diana. Here’s what you need to know.

In an interview with Good Morning America, Harry said that the rift in his relationship with William would have certainly left their mother in tears. In his book, Spare, he also talked about how he and William were unable to show any emotion as they met with mourners soon after she died back in 1997.

While speaking to Tom Bradby for ITV, Harry put it this way, “Everyone thought and felt like they knew our mum, and the two closest people to her, the two most loved people by her, were unable to show any emotion in that moment. There were 50,000 bouquets of flowers to our mother and there we were shaking people’s hands, smiling,’ he recalled of the scene outside Kensington Palace following Diana’s death in 1997.”

He continued, “I’ve seen the videos, right, I looked back over it all. And the wet hands that we were shaking, we couldn’t understand why their hands were wet, but it was all the tears that they were wiping away.”

In Spare, Harry also said that when he told William that their late mother Princess Diana helped him “find” Meghan Markle, the Prince of Wales was not buying what his little brother was selling.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about Harry’s book, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Spare hits bookshelves on January 10th.
