General Hospital Spoilers: Vic Uses Liesl For Revenge And Plots To Take Esme Out

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) will be hard at work soon trying to get back in Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) good graces. This will be no small feat given all he has done to her and the people she loves. Furthermore, Liesl is grieving right now and not thinking clearly.

Although that could leave her more vulnerable to Victor’s attempts to woo her into something sinister that might stem the pain she’s feeling right now, we’d like to think Liesl is strong enough to hold out, and committed enough to Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to resist anything Victor is peddling. Nevertheless, Vic wants Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) gone, and he’s going to see it as his way back into Liesl’s life when he discovers she wants the same thing.

General Hospital Spoilers — Liesl Obrecht Longs For Payback

Liesl is grieving the loss of her daughter, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). She isn’t willing to compromise or think rationally right now, and it makes her a threat to herself if anyone willing to prey on those feelings should become aware of just how emotionally weak she is right now. Liesl tried to end Esme’s life already but Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) burst into the room first and stopped her, though Liesl had already come to the realization that Esme was pregnant and decided not to do her in. Still, she was pulled away while longing to finish her attack and seek justice for her daughter’s death.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Victor Cassadine Doesn’t Want More Competition

Victor has his own angle in wanting Esme gone, and he’s not a man who likes to get his hands dirty. Sure, he could deploy one of his own henchmen to take Esme out, but helping Liesl and bonding with her own the trauma of Britt’s death and her murdering Esme afterward would be a benefit to him — keeping Liel indebted to him, of course. As for his needs, he just doesn’t want to share the Cassadine fortune with another heir; so he thinks it’s best if Esme doesn’t survive long enough to bestow the family with one.

General Hospital Spoilers — Will Esme Price  Pay the Price?

Word on the street is Liesl could get tied up in cahoots with Victor just long enough to cause herself some serious problems. We know she desperately needs Scott in her corner right now and can only hope whatever she gets involved with won’t jeopardize her relationship with him. We know Victor doesn’t give out anything for free. He may fuel Liesl’s desire to see Esme meet her maker though, coaxing her into doing his bidding and thinking all the while that it is her own. Liesl is a dangerous enemy to make right now because she feels she has nothing to lose in the wake of losing her only remaining child. Victor better watch his back.
