Royal Family News: Prince Harry Attacked His Own Bodyguard ‘Billy the Rock’ In A Drunken Stupor

British royal family news divulges that Dirty Harry was a handful even before he married Meghan Markle in 2018 and dropped Megxit on the monarchy in 2020.

Prince Harry has taken to bragging about a lot of things he shouldn’t: Afghanistan kills, losing his virginity to an older woman, and the tale of his frostbitten penis. But are you ready for the story of how the craven youth tried to beat up his own bodyguard? Ready or not, here is the wild story of young prince Harry who went berserk on his own officer in 2007.

According to Harry’s memoir, Spare, he actually attacked a Scotland Yard protection officer assigned to watch him.

In fact Harry tells a few tales about the man he calls ‘Billy the Rock.’ The man is identified by The Mail on Sunday as Sergeant Bill Renshaw. Billy helped him escape the paparazzi at nightclubs by letting him jump into the trunk and ‘like a coffin,’ and Billy was also unlucky enough to be assigned to Harry during the infamous trip to Las Vegas in 2012.

Why would Harry attack Billy when he was trying to protect him? Maybe the better question is, why would Harry attack his family when all they have tried to do his whole life is protect him?

At any rate, the attack came during a trip to Paris in 2007 when Harry wanted to retrace his mother Diana’s final journey. This entailed a trip to the tunnel in which she lost her life following a car accident. It was then that Harry turned on Billy after a round of heavy drinking.

Royal Family News – Harry Attacked His Bodyguard

Harry wrote, “When Billy the Rock escorted me back to the hotel, I tried to pick a fight with him. I growled at him, swung on him, slapped his head. He barely reacted. He just frowned like an ultra-patient parent. I slapped him again. I loved him but I was determined to hurt him.” Which says a lot about Harry’s determination to hurt his family.

Harry goes on, “He’d seen me like this before. Once, maybe twice. I heard him say to another bodyguard, “He’s a handful tonight.” Harry was also lucky that night.

Billy and another officer put the bad boy to bed and believed him to be asleep—nope. Harry later got up and got past them, taking a stroll along the Seine.

Harry got the idea to name Billy ‘The Rock’ because Diana named her butler Paul Burrell her ‘rock.’ Billy retired from the Metropolitan Police in 2017 and presumably now lives a much-deserved quiet life far, far, from the maddening monarchy.
