Tori Spelling Opens Up About Daughter’s Scary Health Issues

In a prior Instagram post, Tori Spelling revealed that her daughter Stella was diagnosed with hemiplegic migraine when she was hospitalized.

Now, she’s letting fans know the progress her young daughter is making towards recovery.

The “Beverly Hills 90210” is forthcoming about her daughter’s condition, which the 49-year-old mom likened to a “stroke”.

“At the ER, she was diagnosed with a Hemiplegic Migraine. It’s a condition that affects one side of the body,” Spelling wrote over a picture of Stella relaxing with their dog.

“Signs of a Hemiplegic Migraine attack are similar to what would be presented in a stroke, that typically includes sudden severe headache on one side of the brain, weakness, and numbness on one half of the body.”

The star went on to add that it “can be terrifying” for any family this condition visits if they don’t know what’s happening “or about this type of Migraine.”

She then went on to imply that many people might misdiagnose the condition, thereby panicking more than is needed, since even she had no idea about the condition despite being “a migraine sufferer” all her life.

This December was not an easy one for the “Scary Movie 2” actress and her family, as they had to battle a number of health issues that affected even the star herself.

But Spelling, who shares daughter Hattie, 11, and sons Beau, 5, Finn, 10, and Liam, 15, with McDermott, 55, is usually one to be grateful.

In December, she opened up about her 5-year-old son’s struggle with “high fever” that sidelined his studies for a month.

“Poor guy was out 3 weeks sick from school,” the “Troop Beverly Hills” star wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. “Finally got him well and back in school all last week and boom now sick again!”

However, he’s made an incredible recovery, enough to resume with his mates this new term.
